About the role

Are you a strategic thinker and technical leader ready to shape the future of electricity distribution? We’re looking for a Senior Distribution Asset Engineer to take charge of asset lifecycle management, optimise network performance and develop industry-leading standards and specifications.
This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days in office per week.
Key Responsibilities include
- Lead the development of engineering standards for distribution networks
- Drive innovation in asset performance and lifecycle management
- Conduct technical investigations to enhance safety and reliability
- Manage specifications for cutting-edge equipment and materials
- Influence regulatory compliance and risk management
About You
You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a high-level of business acumen with experience in crafting professional reports and business cases. Your proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships will see you set up for success, as well as the following:
- 7+ years’ experience in the electricity supply industry
- Ideally you will have a Degree and/or higher in Electrical Engineering (entitling membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia)
- Chartered Engineer accreditation desirable
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and future technologies
