Overview of our role

As the Zinfra Technology Support Analyst, you will be empowered to provide application support for Zinfra specific applications (i.e. Upvise and PowerApps). Additionally, provide generalist 1st level technical support to end users. This role is intended to provide rotating onsite support at regional depot and office sites where regular onsite Digital support is currently unavailable. Ideal for a resourceful person who is self-sufficient, whilst drawing on advice and expertise of the broader Digital team based in other geographic locations. The anticipated split of application specific support vs general technical support is expect to be 70% applications and 30% generalist technical support.

Your role will perform regular planned travel to sites within QLD (primarily) as agreed with Zinfra site managers. Additional travel to WA, NSW and VIC may be required at times in the future, but are not the primary operating locations for this role.

A little about you

  • In-depth experience in an Application Analyst or Business Analyst role, with a focus on operational support.
  • Experience providing technical support to a field services workforce, including Level 1 and Level 2 support across hardware, software, network environments, and business applications.
  • Strong background in application lifecycle support, including deployment, updates, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Skilled in resolving technical issues effectively while delivering a positive and customer-focused support experience.
  • Experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow for incident and request management, as well as participating in system upgrades, integrations, and application deployments.
  • Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams in both virtual and onsite support environments, including regional site visits when required.

Qualifications / certifications & Skills

  • Education in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with API integration, client-side development (e.g., JavaScript), and cloud-based systems, including basic configuration and support.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Office 365, and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with enterprise IT tools, including Active Directory, Intune, and SCCM, as well as ITIL practices for incident management and service delivery.
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals, including troubleshooting connectivity issues, and awareness of cybersecurity principles and data integrity best practices.
  • Skilled in documentation and knowledge management processes to support efficient service delivery.
