Overview of our role

We’re looking for an Enterprise Architect who will play a key role in connecting business needs with technology solutions, ensuring our IT architecture supports our vision and drives efficiency and security.
You will play a key role as the conduit between business objectives and technology capabilities, ensuring IT solution architectures are aligned with overall enterprise goals while optimising efficiency and security. Be empowered and take ownership for the development of the overall enterprise architecture that enables the enterprise to adapt and thrive in the dynamic energy distribution and retail sector.
- Be a trusted advisor, ensuring our technology architecture aligns with business goals and adapts to the evolving energy sector.
- Guide and support solution and domain architects, helping to shape their work and professional growth.
- Develop enterprise-wide architecture strategies, including applications, processes, and technology.
- Lead governance and practice management, ensuring we use architecture effectively across the business.
- Work closely with senior leadership to present architectural insights that drive decision-making.
- Contribute to practice development, strengthening our approach to enterprise architecture.

- Expertise in enterprise technology stacks, including cloud platforms, data and analytics, IoT, and ERP systems.
- Industry knowledge, with experience in energy, utilities, or similar sectors, including regulatory compliance.
- Future-focused mindset, staying ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends to shape innovative solutions.
Qualifications / certifications & Skills
- Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, including frameworks, patterns, and strategic technology roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of energy sector processes, such as grid management, CRM, billing, and demand forecasting.
- Proficiency in IT system assessments, identifying opportunities for improvement and leading technology transformation.
- Knowledge of security, risk management, and data governance for enterprise-level systems.
- Skilled communicator, able to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
