About the role
Cyber Recovery Lead (Melbourne or Sydney) – Be the Guardian of Cyber Resilience!
Are you ready to take charge of cyber recovery in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment? We’re on the hunt for a Cyber Recovery Lead to join our Digital Security & Risk team, ensuring our digital infrastructure is resilient against disruptions.
We are looking for someone that is either Melbourne or Sydney based, however if based in Sydney then you would need to be willing to travel to Melbourne for one week per month as that is where our head-office operations are based.
Key Responsibilities include
- Develop and implement robust disaster recovery (DR) strategies
- Test, validate, and enhance recovery controls
- Maintain a central knowledge repository for recovery documentation
- Drive awareness and communication around recovery requirements
- Ensure compliance with cyber security and risk frameworks
- Work cross-functionally to build and improve DR Runbooks
About You
You thrive in complex IT environments, love problem-solving, and have a knack for identifying recovery gaps before they become critical issues. You understand cyber security frameworks inside and out and can confidently engage with both technical teams and business leaders to ensure seamless recovery strategies. You will also possess the follow skills and attributes:
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in cyber recovery, disaster recovery, or IT resilience
- Deep understanding of cyber security frameworks (ISO 31000, NIST, etc)
- Ability to convert business needs into actionable security and risk controls
- Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills
