THE ROLE

JD Sports is on the lookout for a Store Communications & Operations Manager to join our Retail Operations team! The Store Communications & Operations Manager is responsible for delivering operational projects and efficiencies within agreed timelines and budget. This role also manages retail consumables to optimise profit and oversees store communication channels.

Reporting into the Commercial Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for, but not limited to:   

Internal Communication  

  • Collate daily support office communication and distribute to stores  
  • Ensure the communication of the most up-to-date company policies and procedures to all stores 
  • Confirm correct and communicated trading hours for all stores 
  • Maintain Retail store directory 
  • Update Retail structure documentation 
  • Produce operational training material for ANZ 

Operations 

  • Plan and execute consumables for new store setups  
  • Facilitate the handover process from relevant support office departments for new store setups 
  • Manage the delivery of consumables and sundries necessary for store setup 
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to ensure timely delivery of store opening stock packages 
  • Create platform accounts and logins for new store openings 
  • Oversee Retail field team travel inline with agreed budgets 
  • Liaise with APAC stakeholders to deliver consumables optimisation 
  • Manage daily & weekly accuracy of customer traffic data and issue resolution 
  • Provide analytics on Streamline support ticketing resolution 
  • Manage and optimise RTV process 
  • Manage weekly consumables orders 
  • Invoice & Expense approval  
  • Update and maintain retail policy & procedures
