THE ROLE

The IT Support Analyst provides 1st and 2nd level support for IT Services provided to JD Stores, Warehouse and Corporate Users on day-to-day IT issues. 

This is a contract role for 4-6 weeks, depending on business needs. You'll primarily be based at our Leppington Distribution Centre, and will be required to work at the Support Office in Sydney as needed.

Reporting into the Store Support Team Leader, this role is responsible for (but not limited to):

Store Support

  • Resolve technical issues for in-store equipment (POS, computers, footwear ordering, LAN/Wi-Fi, internet, telecommunication, and mobile devices)
  • Set up new stores (computers, software, Intune enrolment, LAN/Wi-Fi, EFTPOS, POS software, footwear ordering)
  • Coordinate hardware repairs between vendors and stores
  • Escalate unresolved issues to second-level support promptly

Corporate Support

  • Assist with hardware and software issues for PCs and Windows O/S
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues
  • Provision and set up new computers and corporate applications (Dolfin ERP, Business Central)
  • Escalate issues to second-level support when needed

All IT Services

  • Manage Jira Service Management tickets
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and registry

WHO YOU ARE

  • Previous experience in a similar technical support role (2+ Years) 
  • Previous experience within Retail industry (desirable) 
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, OS and software issues
  • Experience with Network configuration and support
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Ideally systems experience with Island Pacific Dolfin (ERP) / DPOSIT (POS) or similar 
  • Experience \ Accreditation with Microsoft Office365, AD, Exchange, MS Teams Admin and Intune
  • Experience with 3CX or similar IP Phone Technology 
  • Experience with Service Management Solutions, incident management, asset management
