What you do:
This role is part of the centralised Financial Reporting function and focuses on maintaining and optimising the Finance IT Ecosystem, which includes the Accounting ERP, supporting systems, and a bespoke revenue reconciliation platform. The position involves managing system upgrades, implementing internal controls, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with IT and finance teams to meet business needs. It also includes working on data and reporting enablement, improving system performance, and facilitating reporting solutions like Tableau and TM1.
A key aspect of the role is supporting the migration of the current ERP system to the Technology One platform. This includes participating in project planning, documenting requirements, assisting with system testing, and supporting change management and staff training.
What you need:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting and demonstrated knowledge of accounting standards, concepts and policies
- Experience with TechnologyOne, including prior involvement in a system migration
- Systems development and finance/accounting systems experience
- Proven technical expertise to implement, build and improve the functionality of the ERP
- Proven experience of creating and streamlining reporting
- Knowledge of SQL (development) and Microsoft Visual Studio
- Experience with Great Plain Dynamics, TM1 and Tableau preferred but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication to engage with wide range of stakeholders
- Some interstate travel may be required
