- Be valued for your knowledge and skills
- Bring your HR structure and compliance to a team that genuinely cares
- Discover the dental industry and advance your HR career
You’re ready to step into a role where your HR skills are appreciated and make a difference. Where people value your input, value your work, and genuinely want you to succeed.
At Karana Downs Dental, we’re growing a successful group of dental practices – and we’re ready for our very first dedicated HR Coordinator.
This means you’ll be stepping into a newly created role with the chance to make it your own – backed by a Business Leader and Group Manager who have been steadily building a supportive, positive culture over many years.
The Group Manager you’ll report to is a long-standing, well-respected leader who knows the business inside out and leads with integrity.
The Business Leader is genuinely caring, hands-on, and committed to doing the right thing for the people who work here.
You won’t be battling red tape or trying to prove the value of HR – that’s already understood.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding role working across a small group of successful dental practices. You’ll be the go-to person for
· HR Administration & Compliance
· Recruitment and Onboarding
· Employee Engagement
Supporting the Practice Managers, you will help manage people processes smoothly and ensure conformity with the Fair Work Act and WHS obligations.
You’ll help roll out Deputy HR software, contribute to performance management processes, and make sure HR records and reporting are kept up to date.
You might also step in for a bit of reception cover (no surgical work!), at the Karana Downs practice, but this will ease as the team grows.
You’ll be based at Karana Downs Dental, with some travel to connect with the team at the Karalee and Pullenvale practices – so access to your own vehicle is important.
You’ll will need to:
- Have 2 or more years (or a degree) in HR Administration or Coordination and want to advance towards more responsibility.
- Understand the basics of employment guidelines and HR compliance – and are eager to proactively keep learning.
- Love ticking off to-do lists, organising policies & documentation, and making sure the details are spot on.
- Be approachable, friendly, curious and always happy to help – especially when someone needs guidance.
- Communicate clearly, organise like a pro, and stay calm under pressure.
- Want to work somewhere where people care about each other – and demonstrate it.
- Live within an approximate 20km radius of Karana Downs - let's face it, no one wants to spend hours getting to and from work every day.
What’s in it for you?
- You will help shape how HR is done, from the ground up.
- A good salary and genuine flexibility.
- Real career development in a role that will expand as the business grows.
- Supportive leaders who back you and will support your ongoing growth.
- A workplace where your input is valued and your wellbeing matters.
- A great culture where you can add your HR flair.
