Receptionist / Dental Assistant - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

The Opportunity

There are diverse avenues available to you beyond general dentistry. This is a full time role, predominantly based in the Wesley Medical Centre rooms in Auchenflower. You will also attend procedures at various locations around Brisbane. Assisting specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons with complex procedures including but not limited to surgical extractions, provision of dental implants, maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction along with head and neck cancer.

About You

You are a caring, intuitive, experienced and qualified dental nurse with a genuine passion for exceptional patient support. Your ability to connect with patients, anticipate their needs, and create a comfortable, supportive environment will be key to your success in this role. You will be seeking a long term career in oral & maxillofacial surgery and the versatility to work in reception as well as chairside.

The other essentials are :

✔️ A Certificate III in Dental Assisting.

✔️ A current driver’s license and reliable car.

✔️ The ability to work across multiple locations, including but not limited to Auchenflower, Chermside, and Mt Gravatt.

If you don’t have reception experience, that’s OK, we can teach you.
