At Investa we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst, to join our growing Treasury team. This newly created role will be primarily responsible for day-to-day Treasury operations, as well as supporting broader Treasury functions.  This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our Group Treasurer and has a clear pathway for career growth.
Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the establishment of a Treasury operations framework to support Investa’s financial activities
  • Ensure a timely and accurate settlement and confirmation of all Treasury transactions related to Investa’s debt and derivatives portfolio
  • Responsible for bank account administration and query resolution related to transaction banking
  • Managing treasury transactions, including assisting in payments, transfers, and investments
  • Support Finance in managing cash balances that meet liquidity requirements
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure all Treasury requests for service, including incidents and requests, are resolved / delivered / managed in accordance with agreed service levels 
  • Maintain standard Treasury operations documentation including bank account register, authorised signatories and standard settlement instructions
  • Prepare internal reports and support other management reporting
  • Partnering with departments within the business
  • Assist the Group Treasurer with debt funding transactions, execution of derivatives, development of capital management strategies and assist with debt compliance management.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Qualifications: Commerce or Business / Commerce Degree (required)
  • Professional qualifications: CA, CPA or CFA (desirable, but not essential)
  • At least 3 years in Treasury or related finance functions
  • Capability to work autonomously and be part of the broader team
  • Proven collaborative working style and team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication, presentation, and report writing skills
  • Deadline focussed with excellent time management and organisational ability
  • Appropriate handling of sensitive information
  • Experience operating Bloomberg is desirable, but not essential
  • Experience operating Reval (or any other Treasury Management System) is desirable, but not essential.
