The Opportunity

We are proud to partner with our client Sydney Water on a major infrastructure upgrade, servicing communities across Greater Sydney. This 8+ year contract will see us providing desilting and rehabilitation services to a major wastewater tunnel that runs from Blacktown through to the Northern Beaches. As a result, we currently have an opportunity for new team members to join our field crews working on the North Shore and surrounds, with free transport provided to and from site!

The positions are permanent full-time offering a rewarding remuneration package including regular overtime.

Responsibilities include:

  • General labouring including site preparation and onsite support
  • Operating state-of-the-art Plant & Equipment in pipeline renewal (cleaning and assessments, pipe lining, junction cut & seal and flow management)
  • Associate civils including Manhole/Pit alteration with rehabilitation

Your background may be from one of the following:

  • Pipe maintenance experience such as cleaning, pipe lining, CCTV or plumbing
  • Civil construction
  • Shotcreeting, steel fixing or operating machinery
  • Water or wastewater infrastructure
  • Or you might be looking to break into the industry, either way we would like to chat with you - We value our people and are ready to invest in you, providing all required training!

You will bring:

  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • OHS Construction Induction Card (White card)
  • The ability to work on sites across the Northern Suburbs (free transport to and from site is provided)
  • Good work ethic and positive work attitude
  • A strong focus on safety
  • HR or MR licence, Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights licences are desirable but in no way essential

To make sure that you’re fully fit to join our team you will also need to pass our pre-employment medical which includes a drug & alcohol test. Please be aware that these roles may require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
