The Opportunity

As the Risk and Quality Manager, you will lead, develop, and promote a risk awareness and quality assurance culture across Interflow. Leveraging your deep expertise in risk management, you will work closely with the executive leadership team to identify and manage enterprise risks effectively. You will collaborate with the Executive Manager- SSQ to refresh and implement our Quality Assurance Strategy. Additionally, you will coach construction project delivery teams, to deliver best practice in risk management and quality assurance.

Your experience driving risk and quality improvements through influence, coaching, and collaboration will be crucial as you work across departments to continually enhance and advance our quality practices and initiatives. Your natural collaborative style will help build and maintain strong, interdepartmental relationships that support the ongoing development of these critical functions.

Reporting to Executive Manager - SSQ, the position is further supported by our talented team of people including the broader SSQ team, Technical Training team and Construction Delivery teams. This role can be based out of our Sydney (Girraween) or Brisbane (Richlands) or Melbourne (Scoresby) office.

You will bring:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field such as construction management, risk management, quality assurance, engineering (or a related discipline)
• 8+ years demonstrated experience in leading, developing, implementing, and managing Quality/Risk systems in high-risk environments
• Experience in organisational change management methodologies
• Understanding of 8D (Eight Disciplines) Methodology
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage difficult situations
