The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a proactive Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, supporting critical month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and corporate transactional activities. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of key accounting functions, including maintaining fixed asset registers, reconciliations and assisting with the fulfillment of other obligations such as tax and statutory reporting for Australia and New Zealand. This role offers a collaborative environment where you will engage with stakeholders across the business, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and driving efficiencies within financial operations.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role with relevant tertiary and CPA or CA qualifications
- Ability to analyse and communicate financial information
- Display a strong technical ability across budget, forecasting, planning and consolidations
- Process and deadline-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other financial software
- Infrastructure / Construction or relevant industry experience is ideal but not essential
