The Opportunity
As the IT Infrastructure Specialist you will be responsible for the day-to-day availability of systems, providing technical guidance and customer focused solutions including support to end users. Your strength lies in working independently to solve complex problems across multiple platforms incorporating identity management and security.
With your expertise you will also be responsible for the day to day operations of the server infrastructure environment, including monitoring and availability management. Alongside this, you will use your knowledge to work on projects with the broader team, including the implementation of new systems and processes (eg: testing and updating business continuity and disaster recovery plans).
You will be familiar working with the ACSC for Essential 8, maintaining secure network access and also working on various projects to further securing the IT operating environment. You will enjoy working and communicating with the broader business to ensure technology outcomes are aligned to business objectives. Supported by the broader IT team, this role is based out of our Girraween office in Western Sydney.
You will bring:
- Expertise in Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure and M365.
- Experience managing Microsoft compute infrastructure, including server and desktop operating systems
- Experience in disaster recovery planning, and backup & recovery technologies
- Ideally, experience in Microsoft identity management (IAM) technologies such as Entra, and SSO integration to other services
- Ideally, some exposure to network and security technologies, and cyber security framework(s) such as the ACSC Essential 8
- Enthusiasm to be part of a relatively small IT team of 10, where your contribution will be broad and noticed
