The Opportunity
At Infinite Aged Care, our Hospitality Assistants play a key role in meeting our residents’ daily needs. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will work as part of the Hotel Services team, where you will be responsible for a variety of activities including food preparation and service, in room service and ensuring that the dining areas remain clean and ready for service.
The Role
- Prepare, plate and serve amazing food to our residents.
- Clean kitchen and dining room areas, including all related equipment.
- Washing up, loading and unloading dishwasher.
- Excellent safety awareness – adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation.
- Make each dining experience unforgettable and enjoyable for our elderly residents.
This role is a physical role whereby you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents.
About You
- 6 Months kitchen experience preferably in the aged care sector.
- Cleaning experience desirable.
- A strong passion for food.
- Ability to problem solve, work with limited supervision and ‘think on your feet’.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Hard Working, flexible with good availability to cover shifts.
- Bring your genuine care and compassion to mealtimes.
