The Opportunity

At Infinite Aged Care, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide an environment which encourages and enables residents to remain independent. Our Personal Care Workers (PCW) are highly visible and play a key role in helping us achieve this.

Working closely with and supported by the clinical, lifestyle and hospitality teams, you will work with limited direct supervision and be responsible for delivering resident-centric care in a timely and compassionate manner which enables residents to make choices and have control over their support needs.

About You

At Infinite Aged Care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so experience in the aged care sector is not necessary. What is essential however is that you have a resident / customer centric, and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also:

  • Demonstrated 1 year in the Australian Aged Care Sector
  • Excellent work ethic, ability to work in a team and follow set safety procedures at all times.
  • Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears!
  • Ability to think on your feet ensuring our residents are the main focus as you will be making a difference to their lives everyday! We want to have Fun in our homes.
  • A passion for making a difference to the elderly by being their personal carer including building positive relationships with their families
  • Very positive teamwork attitude, you are on time, offer to help, be supportive and be a fun team colleague that everyone loves to work with!
  • Hold a certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR have completed 1st year nursing studies.
  • Must have the industry compliance of NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (*or willingness to obtain)

This is a busy role where you will be moving all the time with alot of bending, lifting, pushing and squatting to do your duties safely. All our Carer roles will be required to complete an online medical assessment prior to formal offer to maintain personal and workplace safety standards.
