The Role

We have an exciting and creative opportunity to join the Infinite Care team in the role of Lifestyle Assistant. This part time/ Full time position reports to the Facility Manager with the supervision of our Lifestyle Coordinator at our Hahndorf facility.  This position is pivotal to the wellbeing and engagement of our residents and requires an up-beat and fun-loving individual to ‘bring to life’ our resident-centric lifestyle programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, Implement and roll out Lifestyle programs and assessing the engagement and enjoyment of the resident
  • Assist the Lifestyle Coordinator to develop Lifestyle programs
  • Coordinate activities (internal and external to the facility) to cater for all aspects of our resident’s home environment including the social, religious and cultural requirements of each individual.
  • Provide input during resident care assessments to enable individualised, holistic, resident-centric programs
  • Assist with facility communications and have the primary role for organising all individual and facility celebrations (eg: Birthdays, Christmas, etc)
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, facility team members, volunteers and local community groups
  • Manage and document risk for the facility and ensure a commitment to continuous improvements. 

You will offer?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent additional certifications or vocational training
  • 1 year’s experience in a similar role
  • You will have innate empathy for our residents and be committed to continually improving the quality of care and the social environment provided to them.
  • Have an ability to ‘Think on your Feet’
  • Be IT and Tech savvy
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A confident team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A thoughtful, compassionate, collaborative, fun and positive approach with a creative flare and the ability to light up a room!
  • Have a valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or ability to apply via How to apply | NDIS).
