The Opportunity

At Infinite Aged Care, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide an environment which encourages and enables residents to remain independent. 

Working as part of the Hotel Services team, our Café Attendants help create an environment where residents and their families can come and socialise over a hot or cold beverage or snack. Working Saturday, Sunday and Monday 7.30am - 3.00pm where you will be responsible for a variety of activities such as:

  • Preparation and service of hot and cold (non-alcoholic) beverages.
  • Service of a range of snacks including hot and cold sandwiches, cakes, muffins etc.
  • Washing up of dishes.
  • Cleaning of kitchen and service areas.
  • Cleaning of dining area around the coffee shop.
  • Assist in / provide back up support in dining room service when required.

This role is a physical role whereby you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents.

 About You

At Infinite Aged Care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so experience in the aged care sector is not necessary. Whilst formal qualifications such as a cert II in hospitality would be highly regarded, it is more important that you have a friendly disposition, a willingness to help others and demonstrated experience in a customer service or a hospitality environment such as retail, coffee shop, bar, or restaurant.

In addition to this it is essential that you have,

  • Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and supporting colleagues at all times.
  • Ability to problem solve, work with limited supervision and ‘think on your feet’.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Hard Working, flexible with good availability to cover shifts.
  • Have own transport or access to safe & reliable pick up and drop off transportation.
  • To be eligible for this role, you must have full Australian working rights.
