The Opportunity

Infinite Aged Care is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Hospitality Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for permanent part-time roles with flexible hours. Perfect for early birds and those seeking a second job, we offer shifts 7 days a week, starting from 6:30 AM or 7:00 AM for 8-hour shifts.

As a Hospitality Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional care and service. Working closely with our Head Chef and the Hotel Services team, you'll be involved in food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining clean and welcoming dining areas.

The Role

  • Assist the cook and chef manager in preparing amazing meals.
  • Engage with residents to create a warm and inviting dining environment that enhances their overall experience.
  • Clean kitchen and dining room areas, including all related equipment.
  • Excellent safety awareness – adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation.
  • Work effectively with fellow team members to coordinate meal service and maintain a smooth operation.

"This role is a physical role whereby you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents".

This is to set the expectations of the physical nature of our roles and prevent Suremploy failures in the muscle-skeletal assessments with bending, squatting and lifting. 

About You

  • Previous experience in hospitality or kitchen environments.
  • A genuine sense of care and compassion, especially during mealtimes
  • Ability to problem solve, work with limited supervision and ‘think on your feet’.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A hardworking and flexible attitude with good availability.
