We are looking for a proactive and skilled Business Partner - Finance to join our team. In this role, you will provide valuable insights and analysis to support business objectives and ensure financial success. You will act as a trusted advisor to various departments, helping them navigate financial performance, drive efficiencies, and manage risks.

Key responsibilities include:
Month-End Close & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close processes, including sales and inventory reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and financial analysis.
Financial Statements: Prepare and review financial statements for the C&A business, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Balance Sheet Integrity: Perform balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively.
Sales & Accounts Reconciliation: Prepare internal sales reconciliations to support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams in clearing customer and vendor accounts.
Financial & Management Reporting: Prepare monthly financial dashboards, sales, inventory and other ad hoc management reports.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Preparing budget and forecasts in collaboration with the business and other Business Partners.
Europe Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly Management and Financial packs for overseas partner.
Fringe Benefit Tax: Prepare annual FBT for motor vehicles, including collection and review of declarations and logbooks.
Corporate Finance Support: Assist the Corporate Finance team with half year and year end reporting requirements.
Audit & Compliance: Support both internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation.
What you will need to succeed
- People Leadership skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised, while also able to work within a team environment
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong decision-making ability
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications, or a related discipline
- CA/CPA qualified accounting professional or working towards.
- 4-5 years of financial accounting experience.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP preferred, not essential.
