What's so exciting about this role?
This role sits within the hummgroup People and Culture (P&C) Business Unit within Talent & Development Team. We have a relatively flat structure, and as a subject matter expert you will be empowered to be accountable for end-to-end recruitment providing fit for purpose talent solutions, securing great candidates in a timely manner and enhancing our recruitment practices. You will also have the opportunity to be involved with exciting P&C strategic projects that supporting hummgroup on a global scale through our next chapter of innovation and growth.
What does an average day look like?
No day is average at humm but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:
- Collaborate directly with senior leaders and executive stakeholders on all recruitment needs
- Own and implement the end-to-end recruitment process:
- Conduct Hiring Leader briefs
- Review position descriptions, job mapping, grading and benchmarking
- Create job advertisements
- Candidate sourcing and profiling
- CV screening and shortlisting
- Manage the interview and selection processes
- Participate in interview panels
- Manage the offer negotiation and issues contracts
- Complete reference checks, background checks and onboarding process
- End to end candidate management
- Support implement the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and build our employer brand
- Build and nurture strong internal and external talent pools for all critical roles
- Provide reporting and insights on recruitment metrics and trends
- Implement Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices into TA
- Support the promotion and progression of internal talent
- Support the broader P&C initiatives and strategies to attract and retain top talent
- Vendor management of key TA platforms
- Vendor management of external recruitment agencies

We’re also looking for someone who brings:
- 5+ years of proven inhouse end-to-end recruitment experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence across all levels
- Ability to think strategically and implement tactfully
- Proven experience utilising data and trends to influence future recruitment needs
- Strong organisation and time management skills along with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience in candidate research and sourcing leveraging tools including LinkedIn Recruiter
- Knowledge of Human Resources organisational policies and practices and current employment legislation across AU, NZ, UK, Ireland and Canada (desirable)
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
