What's so exciting about this role?

The Inside Sales Support sits within our Consumer Sales team at Humm. This position sits within the team which looks after a large number of Tier 2 accounts. We have a relatively flat organisational structure, and as a member of the team you are accountable for end-to-end responsibility of your area and might be asked to take on additional accountability within the broader Sales team as required.

In this role, you will identify opportunities within dormant accounts as well as execute on campaigns to ultimately drive revenue. Your role will include working collaboratively with our own internal sales, servicing, marketing and operational teams.

What Does An Average Day Look Like?

No day is average but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:

  • Drive proactive engagement with our merchant partners.
  • Execute on sales activities, aligned them with the team's growth objectives.
  • Liaising and working closely with the team to deliver targeted campaign outcomes.
  • Manage client queries in relation to humm products and services to further build business relationships.
  • Identify opportunities within our partner base to grow our market share and expand business opportunities.
  • Prepare and distribute partner reports across various cadences.

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • A track record of phone-based roles
  • Passion for creating a great customer experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exposure to CRM and Microsoft suite
  • Strong relationship builder; account management skills a bonus
  • Experience dealing with financial products such as BNPL and long-term interest free products is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Proven dispute resolution and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, drive, enthusiasm and tenacity
