humm Ireland is the Irish subsidiary which is responsible for the proposition delivery to the Irish market.

What's so exciting about this role?

Reporting into the Head of Sales, the role of Vertical Sales Manager is ultimately responsible for driving revenue and growth for the business. This role will suit someone with knowledge and experience in the fintech space and as well as having an extensive retailer network. This role is for someone who is self-driven, results focused and customer obsessed. Your approach to business development is professional, execution focused with the ability to perform under pressure and strike a balance between customer needs and our business imperatives.

What Does An Average Day Look Like?

No day is average at humm but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:

Identifying and generating leads for the development of new retailers.

  • Managing a portfolio of retailers within specific verticals/industries set by humm.
  • Leveraging industry research, existing networks, cold / warm calling, attending meetings, conducting presentations and working with stakeholders with existing partners for continued growth.
  • Meeting with and obtaining information from potential new deals.
  • Preparing customer proposals and negotiating key commercial terms with proposed retailers.
  • Structuring and pricing proposals for new deals.
