The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Credit Controller, to assist in the day-to-day accounts receivable processes in both our Hamilton Locke, Source and Helios Entities. Working alongside the wider Finance Team, you’ll be provided support, and training, a role with great growth opportunity for someone who has the right drive and enthusiasm.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Collections and debtor management with a strong focus on collections for professional services.
- Internal and external communications on accounts receivable balances.
- Daily receipting of client payments.
- Monthly debtor statement management.
- Debtor reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Debtor meetings with Partners and Group Heads.
- Monthly firm debtor reporting and analysis.
- Work with offshore accounting team on client account reconciliation.
- Update of unallocated cash registers.
- Ad hoc projects in a fast-paced, hyper growth environment.
About You
We’re looking for someone:
- With experience 5+ years experience in a credit controller role.
- With strong debt collection experience and a proven track record of successfully recovering well-aged balances.
- Who has worked within the professional services industry and/or highly regulated industry - Ideal.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication, must be confident in liaising with clients and partners.
- Who has enthusiasm and drive to learn and develop, to think outside the box.
- Deadline-oriented and strong time management skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to work in a hyper growth environment, with strong attention to detail, and drive outcomes.
- Experience with Practice Management systems and or Microsoft Business Central is beneficial but not required.
