The Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Credit Controller, to assist in the day-to-day accounts receivable processes in both our Hamilton Locke, Source and Helios Entities. Working alongside the wider Finance Team, you’ll be provided support, and training, a role with great growth opportunity for someone who has the right drive and enthusiasm.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Collections and debtor management with a strong focus on collections for professional services.
  • Internal and external communications on accounts receivable balances.
  • Daily receipting of client payments.
  • Monthly debtor statement management.
  • Debtor reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Debtor meetings with Partners and Group Heads.
  • Monthly firm debtor reporting and analysis.
  • Work with offshore accounting team on client account reconciliation.
  • Update of unallocated cash registers.
  • Ad hoc projects in a fast-paced, hyper growth environment.

About You

We’re looking for someone:

  • With experience 5+ years experience in a credit controller role.
  • With strong debt collection experience and a proven track record of successfully recovering well-aged balances.
  • Who has worked within the professional services industry and/or highly regulated industry - Ideal.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication, must be confident in liaising with clients and partners.
  • Who has enthusiasm and drive to learn and develop, to think outside the box.
  • Deadline-oriented and strong time management skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to work in a hyper growth environment, with strong attention to detail, and drive outcomes.
  • Experience with Practice Management systems and or Microsoft Business Central is beneficial but not required.
