The opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Finance to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will support the Chief Financial Officer in achieving Hostplus' financial, operational, and strategic objectives. You will oversee the effective management and development of the financial accounting function, accounting systems, and reporting practices. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with taxation practices, financial policies, and procedures to meet all financial, legislative, and fiduciary responsibilities. In addition to this, this role will manage commercial leases for Hostplus on a national level and provide support to the Audit Committee.
About you
We are looking for a dedicated finance professional with proven experience from within the superannuation industry including expertise in financial management and accounting, a strong understanding of financial policies, procedures, and legislative requirements, and excellent leadership and communication skills.
