The opportunity
Hostplus is looking for a Customer Engagement Manager to lead our acquisition and retention-focused marketing programs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As the Customer Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for understanding the unique motivations of Hostplus’ distinct customer segments and matching our products or services to their needs through targeted marketing campaigns and communications. Your objective will be to increase customer stickiness with the Fund and attract new business. You will work closely with business intelligence to leverage data analytics and insights, driving continuous marketing improvements and bringing ideas to life through integrated marketing plans and campaigns. This role involves delivering a seamless customer experience across multiple channels and touchpoints.
You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the Intermediary Distribution team, showcasing our top-tier servicing capabilities and innovative products to third-party adviser groups. The ideal candidate will expertly juggle multiple overlapping marketing projects and consistently meet our marketing program deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Assist the Senior Manager, Member & Client Services with strategic marketing support for key projects and business unit initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather insights, identify communication improvements, and implement solutions.
- Campaign Planning: Develop and manage marketing briefs, project plans, and calendars of activity, ensuring alignment with budget allocations and channel plans.
- Creative Development: Brief internal and external creative teams, assess concepts, and ensure all marketing collateral aligns with Hostplus brand strategy.
- Campaign Analysis: Evaluate campaign outcomes, measure success against objectives, and recommend refinements for future strategies.
- Team Development: Mentor junior team members, contribute to content creation, and ensure consistency in quality deliverables.
- Annual Planning: Contribute to the creation of an annual marketing plan in line with the Marketing Team Business Plan and Fund strategy.
- Campaign Management: Maintain accurate marketing program management, ensuring all work is documented and factored into budgets and business plans.
About you
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Degree in Marketing, PR, Event Management, Communications, or related discipline.
- Proven experience with Campaign Management across various channels, delivering projects on budget and on time.
- Superannuation sector knowledge, understands the structure and philosophy of industry funds, with legal and compliance awareness.
- Strategic and analytical mindset can consult and advise on marketing planning with a solid understanding of member/retail distribution models.
