The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Elevation System team in Brisbane. This new role has been created to enhance the support of the Hitachi hydraulic lifting and locking system that has been developed for under chassis maintenance of a range of Mining Excavators across Australia.

The role will be responsible for the planning, operation and maintenance of the Elevation System. Travelling with the system, while being supported by local branch resources, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient replacement of components such as swing bearings and track frames.

 

Reporting to the Elevation Systems Manager you will: 

  • Effectively manage HCA’s relationship with mine sites by delivering safe high quality support
  • Coordinate and supervise Elevation System projects
  • Required to work in a team or autonomously
  • Where necessary, you will also be required to provide technical training and assistance to other branches within the organization.

To be a successful candidate in these roles, you will require: 

  • Mechanical Trade Qualifications
  • Problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Supervisory or people management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Safety first culture with evidence of understanding of mine safety
  • Ability to travel all over Australia to support HCA customers
