About the Opportunity

We are seeking multiple highly motivated individuals to join our expanding Gunnedah branch in the position of Workshop Fitter. Working an even time 7 / 7 day and night roster you will be supporting our customers through our ongoing EH5000 machine rebuild program along with major component assembly and disassembly and work on smaller Hitachi machines in our workshop.

As a key member of the team your duties will include:

  • Comply with all WHS responsibilities and promote a safety first culture
  • Perform mechanical maintenance, component change out and parts replacement on Hitachi machinery, in particular our EH5000 haul trucks
  • Completion and submission of all relevant documentation and reporting paperwork
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with peers and other departments

 About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong safety focus and abide by all site safety processes
  • Relevant Trade Certificate
  • Intermediate PC Skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong ability to adapting yourself to different workloads
  • Ensure that you provide 100% Customer Satisfaction with both internal and external stakeholders, branches and suppliers within the HCA family
