Day Shift up to $33.25 per hour (dependant on experience) + overtime when available

• Rotating roster - two weeks 7am -3pm & two weeks 8am - 4pm

The Opportunity

Hitachi has an exciting opportunity for a Storeperson to join our Parts and Warehousing team at our Wacol branch. Reporting to the Manager, you will be involved in the coordination and logistics behind the supply of quality parts to our much-valued customer base. 

The main responsibility of this role will be receiving, picking, cyclic stock counts and packing along with dispatching parts and equipment.

This role will be best suited to someone who enjoys a challenging and stimulating work environment as you will need:

• High attention to detail with excellent time management.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• A great attitude to learn our processes and product.
• Experience working in an industrial parts environment is desirable but not essential
• Liaising with freight providers to manage dispatch of parts.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and to apply good initiative when needed.
• A strong safety focus and a good understanding of safe work practice.
• Current forklift licence – Preferred
• RF scanning experience - preferred
