Are you a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a passion for administration and data management? We are looking for a Commercial Administrator to join our International Operations team. If you have a few years of experience in administration, excellent coordination skills, and a strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to grow and make an impact in a global environment.

About the Role:

As a Commercial Administrator based in Brisbane CBD and reporting to our Commercial Business Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the administration of global mining contracts and managing data-driven tasks. You will work closely with stakeholders based in Japan and globally, requiring flexibility in start and finish times to accommodate different time zones. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, has a keen eye for process improvement, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and administer tender processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Support contract negotiations by maintaining issue and action registers, tracking progress, and ensuring timely resolution of actions.
  • Track and report on contract obligations, ensuring compliance and alignment with agreed terms.
  • Maintain and update price files, part lists, and other data-driven documents, ensuring accurate pricing and clear reporting.
  • Develop and maintain a tender library, ensuring all documents are organised and up to date.
  • Provide administrative support for global pricing responsibilities, including database management, reporting, and analytics.
  • Perform general business and office administration tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2-3 years of experience in administration, project coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) – advanced Excel skills would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft clear and concise documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying start and finish times to accommodate global stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset with a hunger to learn, grow, and improve processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet non-negotiable deadlines.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
