Position Overview:

Due to growth, we have an opening for an Apprentice Program Coordinator that can be based either at our Parramatta, Brisbane or Perth office. Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, in this role you will be actively involved from the point of recruitment through to completion. You will work closely with our internal stakeholders and our apprentices to ensure that our apprentices are receiving the necessary training and support to become skilled tradespeople.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the training and development of our apprentices
  • Work closely with our internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that our apprentices are meeting their needs
  • Monitor the progress of our apprentices and provide regular feedback and support
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions for our apprentices
  • Ensure that our business and individual branches are meeting all necessary compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of apprenticeship progress and completion
  • Provide regular updates to our management team on the progress of our apprentices
  • Assist with the recruitment and selection of new apprentices as required

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or detailed understanding of the VET sector
  • Ability to travel interstate when required.
  • Experience in coordinating apprenticeships or similar training programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in the construction or engineering industries would be an advantage
