As well as overseeing the daily operations of the business, the Operations Manager is expected to lead by example, setting a standard for respectful, positive, and professional engagement with residents, staff, and other stakeholders. This role fosters a workplace culture that promotes strong team morale, collaboration, and a commitment to high-quality service.
About you
- Experience managing people in a customer service environment
- Advanced user of office 365 programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
- Knowledge of occupational health & safety
- Knowledge and understanding of the needs of elderly people and common health concerns such as dementia, mental health & cancer
- Financial skills and experience with budgeting
Desirable
- Understanding of Retirement Village legislation and requirements
- Previous experience in Retirement Living, Aged Care or Hospitality industries
