About the Role

This role is a great entry level position for someone who is passionate about effecting positive change across the residential building industry.

The Health Safety Environment (HSE) Coordinator supports us in ensuring that our Health and Safety standards are being met across all areas of the business, especially on our construction sites.

You’ll be a trusted contributor, working with key stakeholders to ensure onsite safety throughout our home building projects, including managing suppliers and contractors.

What you can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis:

• Driving to our Melbourne sites to conduct HSE inspections and audits
• Assist with contractor management system compliance (e.g., SWMS and other compliance documents)
• Provide risk mitigation advice
• Ensure timely reporting and response to HSE events in the incident management system, including supporting investigations.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Certificate IV OHS or higher
• Previous experience in a HSE capacity or exposure to workplace safety required
• Understanding of Federal and State OHS Legislation and Regulation
• Experience in the residential construction or similar industry desirable
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to engage and communicate with people at all levels, especially site-based trades
• Previous experience with safety-based applications (e.g., Linksafe and Lucidity)
