Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular testing and tagging of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform visual inspections and electrical tests on portable appliances.
- Maintain accurate records of all testing and tagging activities.
- Identify and report any electrical hazards or non-compliant equipment.
- Assist with basic fire safety inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and other fire safety equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding their safety needs.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in electrical testing and tagging (e.g., Test and Tag certification).
- Basic knowledge of fire safety systems and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

Our Test & Tag Technicians are responsible for ensuring electrical safety compliance through testing and tagging of electrical equipment, identifying and recording defects, reporting on safety compliance inspections, and assisting with business development opportunities. The role also includes supporting the Service & Maintenance Managers with additional duties as needed.

- Have a current employed Working with Children Check (WWCC)
