We’re looking for a Senior Associate to join our Construction & Projects team in Sydney. This is an opportunity for rapid career progression, with a clear pathway to partnership. You will work alongside Tony Britt and Hamish Geddes and play an integral role in the growth of our Construction practice.

Our Construction & Projects practice offers clients expertise on all legal aspects of project delivery across the full project lifecycle from project structuring, procurement and project delivery (including contract administration and claims, to disputes).

You will be involved in:

·      Reviewing and negotiating tender contracts, including advice to contractors in relation to amendments to government tender contracts.

·      Reviewing and editing Principal’s Project Requirements documents (PPR) and technical specifications for conformity with contract documents.

·      Defending security of payment claims for principals, preparation of payment claims and adjudication applications for claimants.

·      Advising and assisting contractors with disputes under contracts including over extension of time and variation claims.

·      Preparation of RFT and RFP documents, confidentiality deeds and deeds of settlement and release.

·      Drafting pro forma suites of project documents.

We’re looking for someone

·      who has private practice construction & projects law experience;

·      with a genuine passion for construction law;

·      who wants a fantastic team culture; and
