The Material Coordinator II under general supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy.
- Pay Rate: $23.00 - $30.00/hour
- Assignment Length: 6 months with the high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm | Monday - Friday | on call every 3 weeks
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including clean-up and housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Coordinate the movement of materials from vendors to the warehouse and from the warehouse to the field. This includes managing Goods Receipt/Goods Issues, optimizing physical capacity within the yard, and maintaining effective communication with vendors and logistics team members.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure chemicals are transferred into the correct vessels according to customer demands and current capacity.
- Perform accurate and timely inventory movements in SAP when inventory is dispatched from the facility.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Perform additional duties and activities as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of related experience in material handling is required.
- Experience in an operations environment is preferred, including proficiency with handheld scanners and lift truck certification.
- Experience in chemicals warehousing is advantageous.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP, is required.
- Strong skills in inventory and sales order reconciliation.
- Excellent teamwork, communication (via email, Teams, text, phone), and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- A bachelor's degree is not required but is considered a plus.
