Tool Tech I (Onsite: New Iberia, LA)

The Tool Tech I under strict supervision, performs maintenance functions such as repairs on down-hole tools, surface equipment and other production equipment in the application for down-hole tools.

• Pay Rate: $20.00/ hour
• Assignment Length: 6 month contract with the high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: 7:00 until work is done

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and disassemble down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment with precision and care.
• Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Actively participate in the quality improvement process, contributing to the enhancement of our services and operations.

Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills are preferred to efficiently manage documentation and communication.
• Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required, depending on the specific job requirements.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, is required.
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are necessary to understand and document procedures and reports.
• This position serves as the entry-level role within the tool technician family, offering opportunities for growth and development.
