The Coordinator, HSE under direct supervision of Operations leadership, the Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines as instructed.

  • Pay Rate: $35.31 – $36.03/hour
  • Assignment Length: 6 months with the high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
  • Shift Details: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm |Schedule (5/2) or 14/7 | On call rotation 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential hazards and implement risk management strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report, investigate, and analyze incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste and prevent pollution.
  • Participate in emergency response activities and ensure compliance with all HSE regulations.
  • Oversee the integrated management system (HMS) to meet company and industry standards.
  • Conduct and participate in internal, regulatory, and customer audits and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform general administrative tasks as required.
  • Provide technical advice, interpret data, and offer training to improve processes.
  • Travel to local well sites 2-3 hours in the surrounding area (Permian Basin)

Qualifications:

  • Education: Requires a 4-year Undergraduate Degree in an HSE-related field, Science, or Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years in Oil & Gas or Manufacturing, with proven experience in completions (frac) preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Completion and drilling knowledge, including Frac and Cement.
  • Navigation Skills: Ability to navigate lease roads and follow directions.
  • Inspection & Audit Expertise: Proficient in conducting inspections and audits.
  • Certifications: PEC Safeland, H2S, and a valid Driver's License.
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Ability to coach and mentor on OSHA regulations.
  • Adaptability & Flexibility: Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and maintain flexibility in a dynamic environment.
  • Incident Investigation: Proficient in incident investigation and case management.
  • Professional Interaction: Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of employees within Halliburton.
  • Work Environment: Office/Field split of 20/80, with proven experience in both settings.
