The Operator Assistant II- Frac Acid under strict supervision, assists senior operators and/or performs frac- specific job roles (e.g., proppant, chemicals, blenders, QA/QC, etc... ).

  • Pay Rate: $18.00/ hour
  • Assignment Length: 3 month contract with the high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
  • Shift Details: 14 days on, 7 days off, days and nights, 14-16 hours per day

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and perform basic operations, including but not limited to pre/post job equipment inspections, preventative maintenance procedures, and operating support equipment such as proppant handling, fluid tanks, suction manifolding, and discharge manifold equipment.
  • Complete requisite training and demonstrate competency as defined for the current and next level of operations.
  • Assist in the assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service, ensuring all components are ready for deployment.
  • Participate in the cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job, maintaining high standards of readiness and efficiency.
  • Exhibit strong safety awareness and environmental consciousness, complying with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  • Engage in quality and continuous improvement processes, contributing to the enhancement of our operations and services.
  • Demonstrate reading comprehension and writing skills necessary for understanding procedures and documenting activities.

Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations are preferred to support operational tasks.
  • Skills are acquired through on-the-job training and 3-6 months of experience as an Operator Assistant I.
  • Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
