The Welder/Fabricator under general supervision, uses a variety of welding, cutting, and abrasive wheel equipment to perform running repairs on a variety of equipment, relative to their assigned location.
- Pay Rate: $30.00/ hour
- Assignment Length: 1 Year Assignment with the high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: 2 week on / 2 week off
Responsibilities:
- Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed.
- Job duties may consist of, but not limited to, welding, cutting, brazing, hard facing, tacking.
- This role is responsible for following specific and detailed work processes within the Halliburton Management System (HMS) and customer or country specific requirements, during daily job activities.
- Employees must be able to review quality of work against standards both visual and written, as well as knowledgeable in the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Employees may also perform post-work inspections.
- Safety procedures must be followed diligently at all times i.e.
- Perform welding assembly process in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards and policies.
Qualifications:
- 6G Welding Certification is required.
- Employees in position are expected to have good written and verbal communication skills, as well as be competent in the use of computers.
- Completion of High School degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience are required.
- 3-5 years of experience and Coded certification in welding or equivalent are preferred.
