The Fracking Engineer, under broad direction, working closely with Business Development, matches Halliburton's Frac/Acid technical, commercial and operational capabilities to customer needs through developing a clear understanding of customer's business and technical issues and drivers, the effective delivery of technical sales presentations, and developing and maintaining personal relationships with technical customer base.
- Pay Rate: $48.00/hour
- Assignment Length: 6 months with the high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
- Rotation: Typically two weeks on and two weeks off.
Responsibilities
- Liaises with customers on technical issues, including performance review and process improvements.
- Follows the Business Acquisition Process and advises on preparation of tender submissions. Communicates applicable PSL / Regional initiatives.
- Assists in the execution of critical jobs.
- Assists in the deployment of new technology and processes.
- Ensures improvements identified from previous jobs are implemented and learning shared internally and externally (publishing and presenting case histories and industry papers).
- Promotes the delivery of surface efficiency, custom chemistry, and subsurface insight through design support and post job analysis.
- Assists with management and development of Technical Professional teams.
- Provides technical guidance and consultation.
- Contributes inventions, patents, and new designs or techniques which are regarded as major advances or which significantly reduce cost or time for a project.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work independently and apply advanced engineering principles and decision making in anticipating and solving engineering problems in the most efficient and economical manner.
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 5 years of PE operations / engineering experience are required.
