About GB Projects

GB Projects is a rapidly growing division within Growthbuilt, specialising in delivering exceptional fit-out and refurbishment projects. Our portfolio includes projects valued between $1 million and $20 million across a range of sectors. About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager’s to join the GB Projects team. As a Site Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day to day operations on site, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing subcontractors, coordinating project activities, and working closely with the Construction Manager and Project Managers to deliver successful outcomes for the team.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee site operations and manage the day-to-day activities of subcontractors, ensuring that works are being carried out in accordance with safety, quality, and program requirements.
  • Ensure that all works are completed to the highest standards and in line with project specifications.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by strictly adhering to health and safety regulations and conducting regular site audits.
  • Act as the main point of contact for subcontractors, clients, and the internal team, ensuring clear communication throughout the project.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • A relevant qualification in Construction Management or trade background
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Site Manager within a tier 2-3 building environment, ideally with a background in managing fit-out and refurbishment projects valued between $1 million and $20 million.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, quality control, and safety standards, with experience in managing façade cladding works being an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • A collaborative approach to working with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to achieve shared goals.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously and able to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
