About the Role:

Growthbuilt is excited to announce the opportunity to join our team as a Project Engineer for new and upcoming projects across the Sydney metropolitan area, Western Sydney and Illawarra region. These exciting new developments span across multiple sectors such aged care, seniors living and residential. 

As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and lead engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, maintain, and monitor project quality standards and procedures, ensuring solutions are developed and implemented.
  • Support project programming, collaborate with subcontractors, and assist in procurement of structural trades.
  • Review subcontractor work on-site and ensure compliance with quality documentation and checklists.
  • Facilitate the resolution of design and coordination issues between clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Manage the flow of technical information between design disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Supervise the design team to ensure alignment with the target program and design documentation.
  • Review consultant and subcontractor outputs for compliance with the design brief.
  • Ensure tender packages align with scope, product usage, and design logic.
  • Contribute to construction methodology, planning, and overall project management.

About You:

We’re looking for experienced and driven Project Engineer's who are eager to take the next step in their career. You should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • At least 5 years of post-graduate experience in an engineering role within a tier 2-3 building environment.
  • Experience in coordinating trades and communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strong background in working on complex commercial, high-rise residential, mixed-use, aged care, and seniors living projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
