THE ROLE:
Due to an internal promotion in our People & Culture team, we are looking for a People & Culture Administrator to support the team and our people across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to our People & Culture Business Partner you’ll be the champion of our HR processes and systems, be a stickler for data and reporting and keep everything running smoothly.
The team you will be joining is small but mighty. We have achieved a lot in our short time together, but we still have a long way to go in creating our ideal processes and systems. Sometimes that means things can be messy, and the right person will not only be comfortable with that, but will get a kick out of automating, innovating and improving things together.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
- Supporting the new starters’ processes including preparation of contracts, on-boarding and ensuring all appropriate documentation has been received and completed correctly
- Coordinate new employee onboarding to ensure our new hires have a seamless and positive onboarding experience
- Providing excellent customer service, act as the first point of contact in responding to internal and external HR related enquiries through the People & Culture inbox and escalating as appropriate
- Own monthly and fortnightly reporting e.g headcount forecasting and reporting
- Coordinate all return to work matters including workers compensation and non-work related injuries
- Maintain the HRIS System and electronic personnel files with accurate employment records
- Support People and Culture Business Partner with P&C projects and initiatives
- Administer annual engagement survey and support with reporting post
- Coordinate the scheduling, paperwork and follow up of probation reviews (at 1 week, 3 and 5-month milestones)
- Assist our Talent Acquisition Business Partner with recruitment related tasks and projects including drafting ads, taking job briefs, screening candidates and scheduling interviews
- Managing visa applications from time to time with our Migration Agent
- As part of the People & Culture team, have a continuous improvement lens and make suggestions to improve our employee lifecycle experience including but not limited to our candidate experience, onboarding and induction, EVP, employer brand, remuneration and performance
The successful candidate:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- You love being in the detail and are a highly organisedYou have ideas and are passionate about innovation and improving processes

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – You thrive on building relationships and have a genuine care for people
