About Grill'd

Grill'd is more than just a burger company - we're in the business of good burgers that do good for people and the planet. We believe that everyone plays a vital role in helping us create a better future, one delicious burger at a time. That's why we're committed to sustainability initiatives in our restaurants, pioneering meat-free menu options, supporting local community organisations, and donating over 51,000 burgers to those in need. If you want to be part of a burger revolution, join us!

About the Role:

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Retail Lease Administrator to join our sizzling team! This isn’t your average leasing gig, you’ll handle legal documents, contract approvals, and negotiate offers that sizzle under the Lease Acts. Reporting to the Head of Property, you’ll ensure smooth operations, from document management to gathering pre-trade essentials for new openings.

Grill’d Responsibilities:

  • Serve Up Success: Process legal documents from landlords and solicitors, prep those contract approval forms, and assist in executing them to perfection.
  • Craft the Perfect Offer: Collate comprehensive letters of offer and grill out the best deals in line with the relevant Lease Acts.
  • Keep It Fresh: Ensure timely and accurate document management for the grand opening of new premises, liaising with the broader business to make sure everything’s prepped to perfection.
  • All the Toppings: Gather all required pre-trade ingredients like leases, licenses, deeds, permits, rent in advance, bank guarantees, insurance, landlord contributions, and storage agreements for a smooth handover and opening.

The Secret Sauce We’re Looking For:

  • 5-Star Experience: At least 5+ years’ experience in lease administration within the retail or commercial property leasing environment.
  • Legal Eagle: A background in financial or general paralegal work with a knack for Lease Eagle software and the Retail Leases Act (by state).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines as required—nothing gets by you!
  • Communication Champ: Managing stakeholders is your bread and butter. You build relationships as effortlessly as flipping a burger and love collaborating with people at all levels.
  • Organisational Whiz: You keep everything running smoothly, just like a perfectly layered burger!
  • Team Player: We’re a close-knit crew that bands together to get the job done. No task is too big or small, and we celebrate each other's successes. We’re looking for someone who can relish the moment and join in the fun!

Why Grill'd?
