About the role

We are seeking a qualified Assistant Course Superintendent to assist in delivering quality sports turf maintenance at one a prestigious golf course.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Superintendent in encouraging a great team culture and leading from the front to deliver quality sports turf and green spaces around the site. This role is fully hands on, and you would be expected to help lead and mentor the team using your previous knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Time management skills, organised and reliable
• Daily golf course maintenance and set-up, inspecting and evaluating turf conditions, irrigation system operation and collection of course data offering feedback where appropriate
• Effective communication both written and verbal 
• High attention to detail 
• Ability to work independently and within a team 
• Experience with nutrition programs (desirable)

About You 

• Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
• Valid drivers' license 
• White Card
• Relevant experience in plant care and landscaping. 
• Team player with excellent communication skills. 
• Proactive and able to work independently.
