About Role

As a Site Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of garden maintenance contracts. You will oversee all aspects of site operations, including scheduling, resource management, client communication, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in horticulture, excellent organisational skills, and a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead and supervise a team, providing guidance and support to ensure client's needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including planting, pruning, hedging, fertilising, and pest control, following client specifications and seasonal requirements.
  • Conduct site assessments to identify maintenance needs, develop work plans, and estimate resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide recommendations for enhancing the aesthetic appeal and health of their gardens.
  • Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring availability and proper maintenance to support operational activities.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

About You 

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
  • Valid White Card
  • Valid Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Drivers' license.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members.
