Permanent, full-time role based in our Botany office with flexible working (3 days in office, 2 Work from Home)
The L&D Manager will play a vital role in enhancing our learning culture, upskilling our leaders and employees, and building a high-performing workforce.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the L&D Manager you’ll build strong relationships with our Senior Leaders to gain a deep understanding of the learning needs across the business. You’ll use this knowledge to design and deliver effective training solutions that enable Green by Nature to achieve its strategic goals. You will report to the Head of Organisational Development and your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and implementation of fit-for-purpose organisational Learning & Development strategy that aims to build a highly engaged and high-performance culture
- Design and deliver learning solutions that meet the needs of various areas of the business, using a variety of delivery methods including face-to-face training, online/virtual training and blended
- Evaluating the effectiveness of existing training solutions and continuously improve our learning offerings to suit the needs of the business, ensuring learning outcomes are embedded
- Taking ownership of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it delivers effective learning solutions and is optimised
- Working closely with our L&D Coordinators in Australia and New Zealand, acting as a coach and mentor, and helping to foster an environment of collaboration
About You
This role is perfect for a motivated and enthusiastic L&D professional with experience in designing, developing and facilitating engaging and fit-for-purpose training programs. You will have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and delivery methods. You will possess a qualification in Human Resources, Adult Education or similar with a Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
Our ideal candidate will also demonstrate:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to connect with employees at all levels, from field and operations to senior management
- High proficiency in developing modules and materials using a variety of products and adult learning principles
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, in a challenging and dynamic environment
- The ability to collaborate, influence and lead others on a journey
- Resilience, courage, and the ability to work comfortably in an environment of change and growth
