Grounds Person - Racecourses

• Permanent full-time position 
• 38 hours per week 
• Location - Caulfield racecourse
• Hourly rate + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation 

About the Role

Seeking Grounds Person with interest in Sports Turf and Racing to be appointed in the upcoming vacancy at Caulfield. A position that provides an extensive variety of Sports Turf and Grounds Maintenance. Work within a large and diverse group of staff on one of Victoria's leading Racecourses.

Responsibilities

• Laboring, moving rail, and repairing the track.
• Brush cutting, mowing, and occasional basic gardening.
• Spraying, fertilizing, and irrigating.
• Operating machinery.
• General track renovations.

About You

• Previous experience in Grounds Maintenance, Sports turf management, and general laboring skills is preferred.
• Valid Manuel Drivers License
• White Card
• Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Ongoing safety training programs and resources available.
